Sotalol is a non-selective inhibitor of β-adrenergic receptors that also inhibits Na+ and K+ channels. Sotalol acts as a class III anti-arrhythmic drug that also exhibits anti-fibrillatory activity. Sotalol is used clinically to treat ventricular fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia.
