Lorglumide is an antagonist at cholestocystokinin (CCK) receptors; it exhibits antacid, anti-ulcerative, gastrointestinal motility modulating, and anticancer activities. Lorglumide decreases gastrointestinal motility and gastric secretion and is clinically used to treat ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome, constipation, and dyspepsia.
