Oxybutynin is an anti-cholinergic compound that inhibits muscarinic acetylcholine receptor (mAChR) signaling. Oxybutynin is used clinically to treat overactive bladder; alteration of mAChR signaling decreases afferent activity of C-fibers and Aδ fibers.
