Pluripotin is a dual kinase and GTPase inhibitor. Pluripotin promotes self-renewal in murine embryonic stem cells without the necessity of Leukemia Inhibitory Factor (LIF). Its self-renewal preservation properties have been used to aid in the study of both pluripotency and cancer stem cells (CSCs). It has also been found to promote self-renewal in chicken blastodermal cells by inhibiting ERK1 phosphorylation and promoting Akt phosphorylation. TEST!!!!!!
